The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has established a structured mechanism to handle requests from renewable energy developers seeking commissioning extensions and exemptions from ALMM List-II requirements for solar PV cells. An Expert Committee has been constituted to evaluate cases where projects require extensions beyond May 31, 2026, particularly those impacted by delays in implementation.
