AERC: Petition of APDCL for approval of tender documents including RfS & draft Pumped Hydro Storage PPA for procurement

Petitioner: Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL)

Background: APDCL submitted a Petition under Section 63 read with section 86(1)(b) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for approval of tender documents including the Request for Selection (RFS) and Draft Pumped Hydro Storage Power Procurement Agreement (PHSPPA) to be floated by APDCL for procurement of 1000 MW (for 9 hours discharge with a maximum of 6 hours continuous discharge per day) Power from Pumped Hydro Storage Plants.
