AERC: Petition of APDCL for floating tender for long-term procurement of 3200 MW (4X800 MW) of coal based thermal power

Petitioner: Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL)

Background: APDCL submitted a petition under Section 63 of Electricity Act 2003, for procurement of 3200 MW (4X800 MW) of coal based thermal power on long term basis (first 800 MW by December’2030 and subsequent tranches of 800 MW at interval of 6 months thereafter) from plant to be set up by bidder/generator in Assam.
