The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has mandated cybersecurity compliance reporting for all wind turbine OEMs listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
In a memorandum issued on August 20, 2026, MNRE directed OEMs to submit proof of compliance with India's local cybersecurity requirements by August 31, 2026, along with supporting documents for random checks and inspections.
