Background:
The Petitioner is filing the present Petition seeking amendment to the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2020 (“Principal Regulations”), as amended vide Regulation No. HERC/48/ 2020/ 3rd Amendment/ 2024, vide which, this Hon’ble Commission inter-alia has extended the age limit of Ombudsman from 65 years to 67 years.
