Background:
1. This appeal is directed against the order dated 27th November, 2015 passed by 1st Respondent, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (hereinafter referred to as “the Commission”) thereby approving the transmission tariff for Vallur TPS-Melakottaiyur 400 kV D/C line under supplementary Transmission system associated with Vallur TPS in Southern Region from its Commercial Operation Date (COD) to 31st March, 2014 for the tariff block 2009-14, in terms of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions) of Tariff Regulations, 2009 (hereinafter referred to “the 2009 Tariff Regulations”).
