1. North Bihar power Distribution Company limited (NBPDCL) and South Bihar Power Distribution Company limited (SBPDCL) came into existence on 01.11.2012 as distribution Companies of the State after unbundling of the erstwhile Bihar State Electricity Board. The Commission has been issuing Annual Tariff Orders of these two Distribution Companies (Discoms) since 2013-14.
