Background:
The Petitioner, TP Gopalpur Transmission Limited (hereinafter referred to as “TPGTL”), has filed the present Petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) for the adoption of transmission charges to establish the Inter-State Transmission System for “the Transmission Licence to “Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-XXXIX Power Transmission Limited” (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”) on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer Basis (hereinafter referred to as “BOOT Basis”).
