Background:
The Petitioner, POWERGRID Mandsaur Augmentation Transmission Limited (erstwhile Mandsaur I RE Transmission Limited), has filed the present Petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter “the Act”) for the adoption of transmission charges with respect to the “Augmentation of transformation capacity and Implementation of line bays at Mandsaur S/s for RE Interconnection” (hereinafter referred to as 'Project’) on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer Basis (hereinafter referred to as “BOOT Basis”).
