Background:
The Petitioner, POWERGRID South Olpad Transmission Limited (erstwhile South Olpad Transmission Limited) (hereinafter referred to as “the Petitioner”), has filed the present Petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) for the adoption of transmission charges in respect of the transmission system to establish the “Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential Renewable Energy zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-IV (7 GW): Part B” on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer basis (hereinafter referred to as “the Project”).
