CERC: Petition for determination of transmission tariff for the 2019-24; Common Transmission Scheme associated with ISGS

Background:

The instant Petition has been filed by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a deemed transmission licencee, for the truing up of the transmission tariff for the 2019-24 tariff period under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2019 (hereinafter referred to as “the 2019 Tariff Regulations”), and for the determination of the transmission tariff under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as “the 2024 Tariff Regulations”) of the 2024-29 tariff period, in respect of the following assets (implemented under “Common Transmission Scheme associated with ISGS in Nagapattinam Cuddalore area of Tamil Nadu Part A1(a)” in the Southern Region (hereinafter referred to as “the transmission project”):

Asset-1: LILO of one circuit of Neyveli-Trichy line at Nagapattinam PS for initial arrangement which shall later be bypassed.
