Background:

The instant Petition has been filed by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, for truing up of transmission tariff for the 2014-19 tariff period under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2014 (hereinafter referred to as “the 2014 Tariff Regulations”) and for determination of tariff for the 2019- 24 tariff period under the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2019 (hereinafter referred to as “the 2019 Tariff Regulations”) with respect to the following transmission assets under “Transmission System for development of pooling station in Northern part of West Bengal and transfer of power from Bhutan to NR/WR" in Northern and Western Region (hereinafter referred to as “the transmission scheme”) truing up of Transmission Tariff for the 2014-19 Tariff Period and Determination of Transmission Tariff for the 2019-24 Tariff Period for Asset1: 02 Nos.
