Background:

The Petitioner, Anantapur II Power Transmission Limited (erstwhile Davanagere Power Transmission Limited), has filed the present Petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter “the Act”) for the adoption of transmission charges with respect to the “Transmission System for Integration of Ananthapuram-II REZ – Phase - II (3 GW)” (hereinafter referred to as 'Project’) on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer Basis (hereinafter referred to as “BOOT Basis”).
