CERC: Petition for VEVPL Seeking 160 MW Sui Generis Blended Wind Project Classification as Wind under DSM 8(4)

Petition under Section 79 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Regulations 11 and 12 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024 and Regulation 65 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2023 seeking appropriate directions for holding and declaring that the 160 MW Sui Generis Blended Wind Power Project (based on 81% wind component and 19% solar component) of the Petitioner be considered and treated as a generating station based on wind resource for the purpose of the CERC DSM Regulations, 2024 and more specifically under Regulation 8(4) of the CERC DSM Regulations, 2024.
