Background
The Petitioner, Navinal Transmission Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Petitioner/ NNTL”), has filed the present Petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act') for the adoption of transmission charges in respect of “Network Expansion Scheme in Navinal (Mundra) area of Gujarat for drawal of power in the area” (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Transmission System’ or ‘the Project’) to be established on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
