CERC: Rejects Continuum Power’s Plea for Phased Commissioning of 36 MW Wind Project

Petition under Section 79(1)(c), 79(1)(h) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Regulation 15 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 1999, Regulations 42 and 44 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and Generation Network Access to the Inter-State Transmission System) Regulations, 2022 and Regulations 57 and 68 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2023 seeking relaxation of Regulation 22(3)(c) of the Indian Electricity Grid Code, 2023 for permitting commissioning of the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in tranches of at least 5 MW for the Petitioner’s Wind Power Project.
