The Ministry of Power, vide notification dated 27th September, 2025 (published in Part II, Section 3, No. 4301 of the Gazette of India (Extraordinary)), has specified the minimum share of the electrical energy consumption from renewable energy for designated energy consumers, who are electricity distribution licensees, open access consumers and captive users.
