Bakcground:

In the backdrop of the SEBI’s order dated 15.10.2025 and in terms of Regulation 49(2) of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Market) Regulations, 2021 (in short, ‘PMR 2021’) read with Section 128 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (the Act) and Regulation 51 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2023 (in short, ‘the COB Regulations, 2023), this Petition has been categorized as ‘suo motu’ and order is being issued.
