Coal India Limited (CIL) has floated an Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) tender for an 187.5 MW/750 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Telangana, following the completion of the project’s consultancy award. The tender invites bids from Battery Energy Storage System Developers (BESSDs) to execute the project on a comprehensive lump-sum turnkey basis, covering all engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
