The proposed regulations outline the scope of applicability for different categories within the electricity sector. State Generating Stations, excluding the Hasdeo Bango Hydel power plant, owned by Chhattisgarh State Power Generating Company Ltd (CSPGCL) fall under these regulations. Conventional fuel-based generating plants, including Captive Generating Plants (CGP), within the state, contracted to supply power to distribution licensees at tariff determined under Sections 62 and 63 of the Electricity Act, are also covered.
