Background: This order is passed in petition filed by M/s. BALCO under the provisions of Section 62, 86 (1) (b) of the Electricity Act, 2003, for truing up of Energy Charge Rate for power supplied to the Respondent Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) during FY 2023-24 from its 1200 MW (4x300 MW) of thermal generating station located at Korba, Chhattisgarh.
