Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) has issued a tender to develop pilot standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a capacity of 760 MWh (380 MW x 2 hours) connected to the state grid. The project will operate under the Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, allowing CSPDCL to charge and discharge the BESS on demand, enhancing energy management during peak and off-peak hours.
