GERC: Petition of GUVNL & ors for revision in RPO in case of 4 subsidiary distribution companies of GUVNL for FY 2021-22

Petitioner's Prayers:

The present Petition has been filed by the Petitioner for relaxation from the consequences of Regulation 9 by waiving off the shortfall in RPO compliance of GUVNL/DISCOMs for FY 2021-22, the same being due to genuine difficulty arising on account of non-availability of renewable energy, inadequate capacity addition, under-operationalization of RE plants, time-extension granted to various RE projects due to unforeseen outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic and factors not attributable to GUVNL/Distribution Companies.
