Background: Petition filed under section 86(1) (c), (f) & (e) and other applicable provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Regulations 80 and 82 of the GERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004 seeking extension of time period for construction of the evacuation infrastructure till the commissioning of the entire capacity of 40 MW of Wind Power Project at 220 KV Savarkundla Substation for a period of 12 months from the date of expiry of Stage I and Stage II connectivity approval i.
