Background: The Commission initiated Suo-Motu proceedings under Regulations 23 and 24 of the GERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004 in the matter of Computation of Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS) for FY 2026-27 by issuing Public Notice dated 24.04.2026 inviting comments and suggestions from the stakeholders for relaxing the provisions related to computation and recovery of FPPAS during FY 2026-27 under the GERC (MYT) Regulations, 2024.
