GERC: Torrent Power Limited petition for approval of short-term PPA for power sourcing to cater demand of license areas

Petitioner: Torrent Power Limited (TPL)

Background: The Petitioner has filed the present Petition seeking approval of the Commission for the Short-Term Power Procurement Arrangement for sourcing of power for the period from 01.11.2024 to 31.03.2025 to cater to the demand of license areas under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with the Guidelines for Power Procurement by Distribution Licensees issued by the Commission.
