Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has issued a tender inviting bids from Battery Energy Storage System Developers (BESSDs) to establish a 335 MW / 670 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Gujarat. The project, supported through Viability Gap Funding (VGF) under the Power System Development Fund (PSDF) Phase VIII, aims to enhance grid flexibility and reliability.
