HERC: Petition of UHBVNL & DHBVNL for necessary Amendments, Clarifications & Approval for implementation of the proposal

Petitioner: Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (UHBVNL) & Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVNL)

Background: Petition under Section 50 and 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003, read with Regulations 8 to 11 of the HERC (Duty to Supply Electricity on Request, Power to Recover Expenditure Incurred in Providing Supply, and Power to Require Security) Regulations, 2016 (“Regulations, 2016”), Regulations 16 and 17 of the HERC (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2014 (“Supply Code”), Regulations 65 to 68 of the HERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2019, and all other powers enabling the Hon’ble Commission in this behalf seeking necessary Amendments, Clarifications and Approval for implementation of the proposal detailed herein, in the larger public interest and for the benefit of electricity consumers across the State of Haryana.
