HPERC: Petition of HPPTCL for approval of Capital Cost & Tariff from COD to FY 2023-24 for 220/132 kV Substation

Background: The Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited ( ‘HPPTCL’ or ‘Petitioner’ or ‘Applicant’) has filed the present Petition with the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission ( ‘the Commission’ or ‘HPERC’) for the Approval of Capital Cost and Determination of Tariff for 4 th Control Period from COD to FY 2023-24 for 220/132 kV, 2×80/100 MVA Substation at Mazra (Asset-1), 220 kV D/C Mazra-Karian Transmission Line (Asset-2) and LILO of 132 kV Kurthla-Bathri D/C line at 220/132 kV Mazra Substation (Asset-3) under the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Transmission Tariff) Regulations, 2011, as amended from time to time (“HPERC Transmission Tariff Regulations, 2011”), Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Transmission Tariff) Regulations, 2023 (“HPERC Transmission Tariff Regulations, 2023”), and under Section 62, read with Section 86 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
