KERC: Discussion Paper on Fixation of Norms & determination of Tariff for procurement of Power from Rooftop Aero Turbine

The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC), in exercise of its powers under the Electricity Act, 2003, has notified the KERC (Implementation of Rooftop Aero Turbine with Solar or without Solar) Regulations, 2025, on 27th January 2025. This initiative aligns with the Karnataka Renewable Energy (RE) Policy 2022-27, which envisages the adoption of innovative renewable energy technologies, including rooftop aero turbines.
