The Request for Selection (RfS) issued by Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) invites bids for the development of a 250 MW/500 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Kushtagi, Karnataka through Tariff-Based Global Competitive Bidding (TBCB). The project will be implemented under the Build, Own and Operate (BOO) model, enabling developers to construct, own, operate and maintain the battery storage facility while providing energy storage services to Karnataka’s power distribution companies (ESCOMs) on an “on-demand” basis.
