KSERC: Petition of IGTPL v/s Cochin Port Authority for the grant of open access and banking facility to IGTPL at ICTT

M/s Cochin Port Authority & KSEBL Ltd. 

Background: Petition seeking directions under Regulations 64,65, 66 and 67 of the KSERC (Renewable Energy and Net Metering) Regulations, 2020 and KSERC (Connectivity and Intra-State Open Access) Regulations, 2013 to KSEBL and the Cochin Port Authority for the grant of open access and banking facility to IGTPL at ICTT, Vallarpadam, for availing 5 MW of solar power from the captive facility being set up in Malappuram District

Petitioner's Prayers:

To issue appropriate directions to KSEBL and CoPA to grant open access for availing green power from the proposed captive plant at Malappuram, on terms and conditions similar to those applicable to KSEBL consumers, by invoking the provisions of Removal of Difficulties and the Power to give directions in the principal regulations.
