Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd. (MAHAPREIT) has issued a tender inviting bids from solar power developers for the development of a 100 MW grid-connected floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Tansa Dam and/or Modak Sagar Dam in Maharashtra. The initiative is part of Maharashtra’s broader push to expand renewable energy capacity while efficiently utilizing water bodies for clean power generation.
