The Policy shall be called as “Meghalaya Power Policy 2024” and shall come into force from the date of publication in official gazette of the state and shall remain in force till 31st March 2030, unless otherwise notified separately.

Aim: The overall aim of the Power Policy 2024 if to empower State of Meghalaya through Sustainable, Inclusive and Efficient Energy Development.
