Background: Vena Energy MH Wind Power Pvt. Ltd. (Vena Energy) filed the present Petition on 26 February, 2025 under Section 86 (1) (e) and 86 (1) (f) of the Electricity Act, 2003, seeking directions to MSEDCL for payment of late payment surcharge and penal interest thereupon in the terms and conditions of the Energy Purchase Agreements.
