The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued an Office Memorandum dated 30 July 2026 rescinding its earlier Office Memorandum dated 29 March 2024 concerning the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The decision comes after more than two years since the issuance of the earlier order and takes immediate effect.
