The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued an Office Memorandum dated 14 July 2026 to clarify its earlier amendment dated 25 June 2026 concerning the Revised Guidelines for Installation of Prototype Wind Turbine Models. The clarification aims to remove ambiguity regarding the installation of prototype wind turbines intended for commercial deployment and those installed for testing purposes.
