The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has clarified its Office Memorandum dated 28 July 2025 regarding the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar PV cells and modules. The clarification resolves confusion about the applicability of ALMM rules to Government projects under Net Metering, Behind-the-Meter, and Open Access mechanisms.
