Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM): Clarification
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued key clarifications regarding the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar projects. Firstly, solar plants charging an energy storage system (ESS) that feeds power into the grid are not considered "behind-the-meter" installations meant solely for captive use.
