The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has mandated that all inverter manufacturers under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana connect their devices directly to national servers managed by MNRE or its designated agencies. This requirement aims to ensure secure, real-time data communication via Machine-to-Machine (M2M) SIM protocols, addressing cybersecurity and grid stability concerns linked to integrating one crore rooftop solar (RTS) plants totaling 30 GW.
