Reliance Industries has entered the ALMM List-II for solar PV cells with 1,238 MW of HJT cell manufacturing capacity from its Jamnagar facility, marking a significant step in India’s domestic solar manufacturing push. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) simultaneously added a total of 2,829 MW capacity to the list, raising the cumulative enlisted capacity to 30,056 MW across 12 manufacturers.
