The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has updated the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-I, adding 12,724 MW of solar module manufacturing capacity in August 2026. With this addition, India’s total enlisted solar module manufacturing capacity under ALMM List-I has reached 217,107 MW (217 GW), reflecting the continued expansion of domestic solar manufacturing capabilities.
