The Ministry of Coal compiles monthly reports from various sources, including CIL, its subsidiaries, SCCL, NLCIL, and Captive Block and Lignite Block production data from CCO. Additionally, Monthly DO Letters from the CMDs of all companies are submitted to the Secretary (Coal). This information, gathered from multiple reports and returns, is compiled for the benefit of stakeholders, providing an overview of production and dispatch statistics for the coal sector in August 2024.
