MoP: Guidelines for payment of compensation in regard to Right of Way (RoW) for Transmission Lines (06.10.26)

The Ministry of Power has issued fresh guidelines to expedite inter-state transmission projects by standardizing compensation for landowners affected by transmission lines. The new framework fixes separate compensation rates for the Right of Way corridor and for land used for tower foundations, aiming to bring uniformity and predictability to a process that has been a major bottleneck.
