MPERC: Petition of MPPMCL for additional deviations from the Guidelines for TBCB process for power procurement from WPP

Petitioner: MP Power Management Co. Ltd. 

Background: MP Power Management Co. Ltd., (MPPMCL) has filed the instant petition under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 seeking certain deviations from the provisions of the "Guidelines for Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process for Procurement of Power from Grid Connected Wind Power Projects" ("Wind Bidding Guidelines") issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India ("MoP") under section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 ("the Act") for procurement of 800 MW Wind Power from projects setup anywhere in India with Green Shoe Option of additional capacity upto 100% (800 MW).
