Background: The Petitioner has filed the subject petition on 06th August, 2026 under Section 63 read with Section 86(1)(b) of the Electricity Act, 2003 seeking adoption of tariff discovered through a transparent competitive bidding process for procurement of 800 MW Wind Power, with an additional capacity of up to 800 MW under the Greenshoe Option from Grid Connected Wind Power Projects conducted in accordance with the Guidelines for Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process for Procurement of Power from Grid Connected Wind Power Projects issued by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.
