The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has issued a Request for Selection (RfS No. MSEDCL/BESS/Phase-2/26-27/001 dated June 30, 2026) to select Battery Energy Storage System Developers (BESSDs) for establishing 2,000 MW/4,000 MWh (2-hour, one cycle per day) Battery Energy Storage Systems under a Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
