Background: This Commission in exercise of the power conferred under Regulation 12 of the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2006 and its subsequent amendments has taken Suo Moto cognizance on the matter of determination of Tariff for Small Hydro Project of 5 MW to 25 MW.
