NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), on behalf of NTPC UP Green Energy Limited (NUGEL), has issued an EPC tender for a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The project is aimed at strengthening grid-scale energy storage infrastructure and facilitating the integration of renewable energy into the power system.
