Background: The Petitioner-M/s. Hindalco Industries Ltd. (in short M/s. Hindalco) has filed the present application under Section 86(1)(k) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Regulation 78 of OERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004 & Regulation 201 of the OERC Distribution (Conditions of Supply) Code, 2019 seeking permission to avail power supply at voltage level 220 kV from Budhipadar Grid for a temporary period of 12 months after switching over of the power supply at 400 kV level from Lapanga Grid simultaneously for stabilization of the new 400 kV system for operating Aditya Aluminium Plant at Lapanga, Sambalpur, which is presently connected with 220 kV Budhipadar Grid Sub-station having Contract Demand (CD) of 55 MVA with TPWODL bearing Consumer No.
